What user ID and password do I need to specify when granting authority?
When granting authority for Easy MTD VAT to interact with HMRC on behalf of a business, the user ID and password that must be specified will depend on whether you are granting authority for your own business or all businesses you manage as an agent. The table below explains what user ID and password you must specify for each circumstance:

| All businesses you manage as an agent | The user ID and password of the agent services account where the businesses are managed. Authority will be granted for Easy MTD VAT to interact with HMRC for all businesses managed under the agent services account. |
